Utilities to the Sand Springs Area
The City of Sand Springs provides service to residents inside the city limits as well as west to Coyote trail, east to 81st West Avenue, south to 71st Street, and north to Zink ranch. Municipal
Bldg. - 1st Floor Drive-thru drop off payment service available 24 hours a day behind Municipal Bldg. or it may be mailed. $40 deposit
for homeowners
Public Service Company of Oklahoma provides electrical service to Sand Springs residents. 24 hours advance notice is required for establishment of services. There is a $25 connection fee applied to the first month's bill. A deposit is not required for those who have never had PSO service or those with a good payment history. For those who have a poor pay history or outstanding bill, a deposit is required, and is computed on the average of 2 months worth of service for that location. For service, call (918) 586-0411 or 1-800-776-7071. Bills may be paid at one of several pay stations around Sand Springs, or mailed. Indian Electric Cooperative of Cleveland provides electricity service to some residents who receive water service from the City of Sand Springs, but do not live within city limits in an area west and southwest of Sand Springs. For service or information, call (918) 358-2514 Verdigris Valley Electric Co-op provides electricity to some of the area just north of the Osage/Tulsa County line. Oklahoma Natural Gas provides gas service to Sand Springs. A deposit is required for new service and is equal to twice the monthly average for that location. There is also a $25 connection fee added to the first month's bill. To establish service or for more information, call (918) 834-8000.
Southwestern Bell Telephone provides service to much of the Sand Springs area. New customers may be required to place a deposit. Call 1-800-640-8911 to establish residential service. The call center is open until 11pm. Cimarron Telephone provides service to rural areas west towards Mannford and south of Sand Springs. Deposits are based on your credit.
